Google in Black = BLACKLE


Stop using Google and start using Blackle.

Based on the idea that a black screen uses less energy than a white one, Dr.Toby Heap, who realized the concept, is confident that it will also act as a reminder to keep taking small steps towards saving energy. As opposed to the the current Google search format which is predominantly
White, Blackle is all...well, Black. Its a simple concept (Geez...why didn't I think of that?!) but promises a very important energy-saving capability.

You have probably heard of it since it was launched January of this year and are currently using it, but I just find it worthwhile enough to spread the word some more. Although not everyone is excited about the idea (including Google itself), its just a concept worth the buzz.We're looking forward to when they come out with Bmail or even better, Blackmail.
